THE 30 SECONDS® SUCCESS STORY

Created in South Africa 5 years ago, 30 SECONDS® remains and has been for the last three years is the largest selling game in that country. It has a cult following with passionate players taking their 30 SECONDS® boxes with them on social outings….to ensure a game is available.

Surprisingly, this was achieved through only word of mouth advertising, with distribution through most major retail chains.

Not only have the general public embraced the game, but large corporates have made purchases of up to 1000 games at a time for customer and staff gifts. It is regularly used as a team-building tool at conferences and workshops.

Radio stations have also taken to the game. Short segments of the game are played live as a “fun on air activity”. One station played the game on air for 12 months and have just launched for the second year.

30 Seconds® currently holds the prestige award "Board Game of the Year" for 2003.

Based on the local success in South Africa the game is now being launched internationally in Europe, Australasia and the USA, with special versions developed for each of these new markets.
